Over the 4 years my brother has owned this dog, he has never trained or socialized him and the dog was becoming territorial and aggressive in the room at the facility. Bruce did an amazing job with the dog, restoring the dog's confidence and getting him to obey commands. Even when my brother refused to cooperate with the lessons, Bruce continued to think of ways to help the situation.

 Verified Bruce is five stars! My husband and I have a 5  1/2 yo Doberman who is leash aggressive around other dogs. Because of this, we haven't been able to travel much. We won't board her and won't leave her with just anyone. We were SO fortunate to find Bruce. He is not only an awesome pet sitter who will work with your schedule but is also an exceptional trainer. Because of his training background, we felt comfortable leaving our girl with him and knew he would be able to handle her when she got anxious.  Verified My two Boston Terrier's and I have been working with Bruce for several weeks. Bruce is wonderful! The dogs look forward to his visits and they have a great level of trust with him because they can feel the love and respect he has for them. My dogs had certain behaviors that are common with many dogs. I am so happy to see that the behaviors have improved so much since working with Bruce. He watched Sophie so I could get my car. Then he very carefully loaded her into my car and advised me to get her to the vet. He is my hero,I had no clue what to do. Bruce Afkami and PFF were by far the most professional and effective. Bruce bonded with Tommy almost instantly. Hello: I am Bruce Afkami the founder of Pet’s Friend Forever. My calling is to help individuals and families share happier lives with their dogs, by coaching them and training their dogs to understand each other’s verbal, nonverbal and body language. I use Positive Reinforcement R+ and am experienced in all the other training options available and respect my client’s preferences. My partner in crime (Training Assistant) is my own dog, Joey who is a West Highland Terrier and the expression, “Terrier, Terrorist” is a very apt description of him. Westies are known for being smart, self-confident, very funny and definitely stubborn. He was a challenge to train, which made seeing his progress even more satisfying. He has become very helpful in demonstrating how to train your dog on specific commands and with providing opportunities for socialization for dogs who need it. He gets paid in toys, affection and healthy treats. Joey and I want to be your PFF!

Bruce has been the trainer/walker for our two dogs, Otis and Ecco for 5 months. Ecco is an Australian Shepherd and Otis is a Chihuahua mix. Ecco is very challenging out in the community with other dogs. With the help of Bruce she is now able to relax and not pull the leash. She now sits automatically when we stop walking. She is now able to play with other dogs at the dog park without anxious behavior. We highly recommend Bruce for your pet training. Our dogs really connect with him and look forward to his visits.
